*UPDATE 3/4/2021: Representatives from Attorneys for Animals, Songbird Protection Coalition, Michigan Audubon and Clarkston Backyard Birders gave verbal testimony, which resulted in the resolution being tabled. As a result, no vote was cast yesterday to move SR 20 out of the Senate Committee. More information will be released as we have it. Thank you to everyone who expressed your concern to the Senate! This misguided resolution is being fast-tracked to avoid time for citizen input and is scheduled to be heard this coming Wednesday, March 3rd at 8:30am.
