Dear KHS Clients and Friends:

Due to recent staff turnover, the Kalamazoo Humane Society’s services will soon operate at a reduced capacity.

We’re pausing veterinary services, starting in February, until we can replace and train new team members. This includes spaying and neutering as well as general veterinary care. We are unsure of how long this process will take because of the competitive job market.

In the interim, we will continue to operate our pet food bank and cremation services.

We realize this will cause inconvenience for many of you. We deeply regret that. We will do our best to return our service capacity to normal as quickly as we can.

For those who can’t wait to get care for their animals, we’ll work with them to transfer medical records to another veterinary clinic of your choice.

If you would like to get a copy of your pets records e-mailed to you, you may request them through this link--- https://bit.ly/KHSvetrecords

If you need any medication/prevention refills for your pet please call 269-345-1181 to request them. Please note, it takes 24-48 hours for them to be filled and ready to be picked up.

If you have any questions please call 269-345-1181.

We appreciate your understanding,

Aaron Winters
