Nearly 300 pet owners utilize the Humane Society's Pet Food Bank program annually.

The Kalamazoo Humane Society offers temporary assistance to families in Kalamazoo County experiencing financial difficulty. Pet food costs can pose a problem for pet owners when the budget is tight, and we can help to prevent pets going hungry during times of financial strain.

The pet food bank will also gladly accept donations of wet and dry pet food for dogs and cats of all ages, as well as cat litter. These items are in high demand, especially during an economic downturn and when unemployment rates are high.
