- Spay/Neuter Clinic (Operation Fix it)
- Operation Fix it is a low-cost spay/neuter program designed to prevent the overpopulation of animals by spay/neutering animals for those owners who would otherwise not be able to afford it.
- Food Bank
- Temporary pet food for families in need; all food for this program is donated by the public.
- Dog Houses
- Free dog houses to those who can't afford them; dog houses and time to build them are donated by the public.
- Library
- Material available for loan on many animal related topics
- Pet Visitations
- Local pets and their owners visit area hospitals, nursing homes and children's facilities on a regular basis.
- Temporary Pet Sheltering
- KHS can make temporary arrangements for pets, while victims of domestic violence make needed adjustments and living arrangements.
- Educational Presentations
- Education programs and counseling are available on such topics as responsible pet ownership, pet population control, bite prevention, safety around animals and animal behavior.
